Inspiring Talks for Universities, Colleges and Schools
Drawing on my own experience of developing an eating disorder and other damaging behaviours in my teens to cope with fear, insecurity and low self-esteem and on the tools I've learned over nearly 20 years of recovery and personal development, I deliver bespoke workshops in schools, colleges and universities that help individuals achieve their potential while staying healthy and well. I create a safe, nurturing environment in which to explore all aspects of self-harm, including anorexia, bulimia and binge-eating disorder, drug and alcohol abuse and compulsive work. I look at perfectionism and stress, particularly in high-achieving individuals, explore how thoughts impact feelings and offer students and professionals self-management tools so they can balance their work and their wellbeing. I am registered with the Schools Speakers network and have delivered a number of talks under the network's umbrella. You can also contact me directly to speak: katherine@katherinebaldwin.com
