If you are reluctantly single, childless-not-by-choice, lonely, heartbroken, grieving, anxious or confused and bemused about how your life has turned out, join me live on Zoom for a winter workshop and seasonal support session.
Christmas or the holiday period can be a challenging time for those of us whose lives haven't gone 'to plan'. It's all too easy to fall into compare and despair, to feel horribly alone, while everyone else seems to be celebrating in large family groups, and to think that nothing is ever going to change. Some of the most self-loving, self-caring and healing things you can do at this time of year are: nurture yourself, feel your feelings rather than numb them and seek support with like-minded, compassionate souls who understand what you're going through. That's what this workshop offers. Join me live on Zoom for some seasonal support on: Wednesday, December 21st from 6 pm to 8 pm GMT Value Exchange: £20 In this workshop and seasonal support session, we'll explore the following: Allowing - The importance of allowing ourselves to simply be and to have all of our feelings, without self-blame or shame, rather than quashing our feelings or trying to run away from them through overeating, drinking too much, numbing out on screens etc. Accepting - The importance of accepting ourselves exactly as we are, of accepting our past choices and decisions and our age and stage in life. This includes self-forgiveness for those who are prone to self-recrimination Letting go - The process of letting go of what could have been, in our own time, when we are ready. Letting go creates space in our heads, hearts and lives for new opportunities, new relationships, new dreams and new futures Welcoming - As we allow our feelings to be, accept where we are today and let go of what could have been, we are ready to welcome a new vision into our lives - one that is unique to us and our circumstances This is a live, interactive workshop. Please come ready to engage with me and the reflective exercises we will explore. Bring a pen or pencil and journal, notebook or sketch pad. Find a quiet spot and make yourself a cup of tea before we begin. Unable to join me live on Wednesday 21st at 6 pm GMT? A recording of the first part of the session will be available (approx. 60 mins). This will include my words and a selection of reflective exercises, which you can do in your own time while watching the recording. Please note the recording will be switched off part-way through to allow participants to interact and share freely with each other, without being recorded, in the second half of the session. The recording will be beneficial so do sign up for it if you can't join us, but please note you will receive greater value by joining live if you can. |
Click the relevant 'buy tickets' button below to join live or to receive the recording, which will be sent to you within 24 hours of the event.
